If your child is new to LAUSD, please spend sometime to activate and get familiar to Parent Portal and Schoology websites, as they are the essential channels where our school and teachers keep student records and learning materials.
 
 
 
 

Parent Portal

 
Parent Portal provides LAUSD parents and guardians a platform to:
  • Monitor student's attendance and final grades
  • Update emergency telephone numbers
  • Track student's progress towards completion of graduation requirements
  • Connect with the classroom teacher
  • Track progress of English Learners
  • Request a district device for student's at home learning. . . and much more!
 
To register a Parent Portal account, you need:
  • Be a parent or legal guardian to at least one current LAUSD student 
  • A valid email account
  • Student's school ID number
  • Student's birthday
  • A set of pin from school front office
 
 
If you need extra help for activating your Parent Portal account, please visit our Parent Center during work hours, our staff will guide you through the process.
 
 

Schoology

 
Schoology is a website which allows teachers to share latest course assignment, materials, and information to students and parents. It's essential for parents to have access to it, so the most current class assignments and materials can be seen.

Volunteer in School


Parents and community volunteers are an integral part of our learning community. If you are looking to provide school support, enrich students' learning environment, or share your special expertise, please fill out the online application at https://volunteerapp.lausd.net and mention it to our staff in the Parent Center. We will explain and walk you through the volunteer application process.

Do you know that every LAUSD student can request one Chromebook to use at home? This device is funded by the state Emergency Fund, student can keep it at home as long as they are with LAUSD. Parents/caregivers can fill out the online device request form in Parent Portal.

As of June 1st, 2024, LAUSD will no longer provide home broadband internet service. Families who previously received support from the program will also lose their plan at the same time. If your child needs internet access outside of school, please request a Chromebook with a built-in data plan before June 1st. After this date, the district will no longer accept applications. Families who previously opted out of wifi-only devices can call the All Family Connected Hotline at (213) 443-1300 to inquire about available options.
